Assisted Self-Haul & C&D Collection Services

1. Jurisdiction & How Our Service Works

A. Franchise Cities
In cities with exclusive solid waste franchises, 2nd Chance Removals operates under Assisted Self-Haul Mode:

  • You (the customer/generator) are the self-hauler
  • You retain full custody & responsibility for all materials
  • You direct the disposal destination
  • We provide:
    • Roll-off container rental
    • On-site labor & loading help
    • Sorting assistance
    • Equipment operation only
  • We do not provide solid waste hauling or disposal services in franchise cities

This keeps you and us fully compliant with city franchise laws.

B. Unincorporated San Diego County
When work occurs in unincorporated County areas and we hold an active NEFA:

  • We may legally haul C&D debris
  • We may collect source-separated recyclables
  • We may appear as the hauler-of-record
  • Services include compliant C&D transportation and disposal
  • We meet all County diversion & reporting requirements

C. If the Jurisdiction Is Not Yet Known
We default to Assisted Self-Haul Mode until location is confirmed.
